Este año he decidido traerme trabajo a casa.

New Year

It's like a new beginning. You breathe deeply and take time to rethink everything or almost everything. What happened in the year that is ending is valued and mentally and physically prepared for the new challenges of the year that is coming.
In general, we feel moderately satisfied with last year but, as always, wanting to improve ourselves, improve, always improve. If we have a clear goal for years, it is that: Improve every day, every hour. Learn, learn.
Since my days as a medical student in Spain, I used to take advantage of it or the last days of the year, acquiring a good book (all are usually good) and immerse myself in its plot and enjoy like a dwarf. This year I have decided to bring work home with me. I have brought a box of medical records for an investigation of the incidence of Dengue among the upper classes of Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic during this year that has just ended.
I think it's a good way to say goodbye to one year and start the next.
In the first days of January, I will begin another new job with more modern sonography equipment and with better diagnostic possibilities, which keeps me motivated because greater goals are opened for the benefit of patients.
