Tirotoxicosis Post- Parto
Paciente femenina de 24 años de edad que tras parto normal hace 6 meses presenta nerviosismo, aumento del apetito, insomnio, tos seca y persistente que se resiste a todos los tratamientos instaurados hasta ahora , sequedad de boca y garganta. Su analítica muestra marcada elevación de T3-T4 y FSH.
Al examen sonografico encontramos un tiroides sin lesiones focales, con hipo-ecogenicidad generalizada y con limites tortuosos en ambos lóbulos, estos no lucen aumentados de tamaño, al igual que el istmo tiroideo, pero sobre todo el lóbulo derecho muestra un marcadisimo aumento del flujo en el Doppler Color, constituyendo lo que se denominado -Tormenta Tiroidea- característica sobresaliente en la Tiroiditis Aguda .

The sonographic examination found a thyroid without focal lesions with hypo-echogenicity limits widespread and winding in both lobes, these do not look enlarged, as the thyroid isthmus, but above all the lobe right shows a very marked increase in flow Color Doppler, constituting what is called thyroid storm-feature-outstanding acute thyroiditis.
