Male patient, 59 years old with a long history dating back to 14 years ago during which intermittently, he produces a swelling below the angle sub-mentalis accompanied by pain, fevers and chills. Antibiotic treatments and anti-inflammatory painkillers produce remission of symptoms but these appear again sometime later in the same manner and with equal intensity. The sonographic examination shows an image-echogenic, thickened and irregular wall, showing its fine sediment flow inside suggestive of purulent. The lesion is accompanied by wide area subcutaneous edema. The area is approx 3.5 X 2.1 X 1.0 cm with approx volume of 4.2 ml. It concludes with the diagnosis of abscess Sub-mentalis.
