Neumonia

Paciente masculino de 02 años de edad con proceso febril severo de varios dias de evolución, presenta mucosidad abundante por vía nasal, tos productiva y cierto grado de disnea de esfuerzo. El examen físico demostró roncus y sibilancias sobre todo en base pulmonar derecha. El examen sonografico mostró derrame pleural derecho con abundantes filamentos de fibrina y presencia de lineas focales hiper-ecogenicas en base pulmonar derecha conformando el llamado Broncograma aéreo compatible con el diagnostico de Neumonia Basal Derecha. En contacto telefónico con la Pediatra se ordena Radiografía de Tórax que confirma el diagnostico sonografico ( ver imágenes )

Pneumonia

Male patient 02 years old with severe febrile illness several days of evolution, presents abundant via nasal mucus, cough and some shortness of breath on exertion. Physical examination revealed rhonchi and wheezing especially in the right lung base. The sonographic examination showed right pleural effusion with abundant fibrin strands and the presence of focal hyper-echogenic lines in the right lung base forming the so-called air Bronchogram supports the diagnosis of pneumonia Basal Right. On the phone, with the pediatrician Chest, an X-ray confirming the sonographic diagnosis is ordered (see images)
