Complete Rupture Supraespinatus
Male patient, 55 years old, heavy vehicle driver with a history of 8 years of intense pain in left shoulder that decreases its ability to mobilize the arm. The sonographic examination shows image of 'curl' supraspinatus tendon of the left, which appears as a hyper-echogenic image without continuity, surrounded by small amount of liquid. The long biceps tendon looks like a hyper-echogenic band with fibrillar feature with fluid collection surrounding it. It concludes with a diagnosis of complete rupture of the supraspinatus and biceps tendinitis.
