Posterior Urethral Valve Syndrome
II

As agreed with the referring physician, we follow up on the case of the Posterior Urethral Valve Syndrome seen in our previous post. In this new control, we are struck by two changes: The decrease in the amniotic fluid and the greater thickening of the walls of the urinary bladder. In this new examination, we added the vision of the nuchal translucency as one more control to eliminate the possibility of fetal malformations. For the rest, both kidneys and ureters show the same changes already described in the previous post. As a maternal history, it is added that she had hyperprolactinemia problems due to the presence of pituitary micro-adenoma, due to this she was ingesting analgesics such as Propinox (simple Septal) and Dexamethasone use. Also for 3 months, I take for persistent urinary tract infection Norfloxacin which is a broad-spectrum antibacterial.
