Quiste Esplenico

Paciente masculino 56 años edad,diabetico (de toda la vida, segun dice)insulino-dependiente,con amputacion de ambas extremidades inferiores , una hace 6 años y la otra hace 3 años. Viene por fuertes dolores abdominales. La analitica demostro infeccion urinaria.El examen sonografico no mostro signos de lesiones organicas excepto en el Bazo que luce aumentado de tamaño , volumen aprox: 611.70 ml,con imagen an-ecogena,quistica, localizada en polo superior. El quiste es tabicado, con refuerzo ecogenico posterior,eco-doppler negativo, mide aprox: 4,61 X 4,49 X 3,75 cm, con un volumen aprox: de 40,71 c.c.

Se  concluye con el diagnostico de Esplenomegalia y quiste esplenico de origen a investigar

Splenic cyst

56-year-old male patient, diabetic (lifelong, according to what he says), insulin-dependent, with amputation of both lower limbs, one 6 years ago and the other 3 years ago. It comes from severe abdominal pain. The laboratory test showed urinary infection. The sonographic examination did not show signs of organic lesions except in the spleen that appears enlarged, volume approx: 611.70 ml, with an-echogenic, cystic image, located in the upper pole. The cyst is septate, with posterior echogenic reinforcement, negative echo-Doppler, measures approx: 4.61 X 4.49 X 3.75 cm, with a volume approx: 40.71 c.c.

It concludes with the diagnosis of splenomegaly and splenic cyst of origin to be investigated.
