Absceso Ganglio Linfático Cervical
Paciente femenina de 11 semanas de edad con historia de 9 días de proceso febril. La analítica mostró una marcada Leucocitosis que persiste a pesar de la Antibioticoterapia. Lleva dos días con tumefacción dura, inmóvil dolorosa, localizada en el cuello, por debajo del angulo mandibular derecho. El examen sonográfico muestra una glándula Parotidas normal en forma, tamaño y aspecto sonográfico con un pequeño ganglio en su interior que es un hallazgo frecuente en paciente normales. Por debajo de la glándula se visualiza Adenomegalia muy heterogénea con aumento del flujo vascular al Doppler Color, en su polo inferior se visualiza imagen an-ecogena, de paredes engrosadas e irregulares en su cara interna, con presencia de grumos en su interior, mide aprox 2,0 X 1,5 X 1,8 cm, con volumen aprox de 2,9 ml. Se diagnostica como Absceso Ganglio Linfático Cervical.

The sonographic examination shows a normal parotid gland shape, size and sonographic appearance with a small node inside that is a common finding in a normal patient. Below the gland, adenomegaly displayed very heterogeneous with the increased vascular Doppler color flow at its lower pole, an image is displayed echogenic, and an irregular thickened wall on its inner surface with lumps present therein is approx 2.0 X 1.5 X 1.8 cm, with a volume of 2.9 ml approx. Diagnosed as cervical lymph node abscess.
