Quiste Epidérmico Dedo Mano

Femenina 27 anos de edad con tumoración a nivel de articulación  metacarpo-falángica del 3er dedo de la mano izquierda. Presenta una evolución de unos tres meses, no se queja de dolores y puede flexionar el dedo de una forma normal. Es enviada con el diagnostico presuntivo de tumoración de células gigantes. El examen sonografico con transductor lineal de 10.0 MHz muestra que el tendón flexor presenta forma, ecogenicidad y homogeneidad normales, sin apreciarse lesiones focales. Por delante del tendón se visualiza imagen anecogena, quistica, mide aprox: 5.20 X 3.01 X 3.06 mm con un volumen aprox: de 0.03 c.c.. La exploración Doppler es negativa y la Elastografia muestra patrón de color con score 2 de Ueno y Strain Ratio de 1.07 compatible con lesión benigna. Se concluye con el diagnostico de quiste epidérmico del dedo.

Epidermal Cyst Finger Hand

A 27-year-old female with a tumor at the level of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the 3rd finger of the left hand. She presents an evolution of about three months, does not complain of pain, and can flex her finger in a normal way. She is sent with the presumptive diagnosis of a giant cell tumor. Sonographic examination with a 10.0 MHz linear transducer shows that the flexor tendon has a normal shape, echogenicity, and homogeneity, with no focal lesions observed. In front of the tendon, an echogenic, cystic image is displayed, measuring approx: 5.20 X 3.01 X 3.06 mm with a volume of approx: 0.03 cc Doppler examination is negative and elastography shows a color pattern with an Ueno score of 2 and a Strain Ratio of 1.07 compatible with a benign lesion. It concludes with the diagnosis of an epidermal cyst of the finger.
