Óbito Fetal

Paciente femenina de etnia china, 23 años de edad, cursando su primer embarazo. Al examen sonografico se aprecian cambios en el polo cefálico del producto . Se visualiza edema del cuero cabelludo ( foto # 1 ), acabalgamiento craneal que consiste en la superposición de placas oseas del cráneo ( foto # 2 ) , en tercer lugar placenta de localización anterior con signos de edema ( foto # 3 ), por ultimo , un corazón fetal sin latidos audibles o visibles. Siempre en estas ocasiones, es muy difícil ocultar el dolor propio o ajeno que generan estas situaciones y la forma de dar la noticia es siempre difícil  En este caso, la mama de la paciente rechazo el informe sonografico , confesando que ya conocían la situación pero necesitaban una confirmación   Los datos sonograficos sugieren que el óbito se produjo hace algún tiempo, pues esos signos ( los del cráneo fetal y los de la placenta, no se producen de inmediato. Los ojos llenos de lagrimas de la paciente , expresaron todo su dolor, sin pronunciar una sola palabra, para mi, fue muy difícil hablar.....

Ethnic Chinese Female patient, 23 years old, in her first pregnancy. Sonographic examination changes were observed in the cephalic pole product.
