Pasada la primera fase critica o fase I, entramos a la Fase II con la falsa esperanza de que todo iría a mejor, !oh! craso error, dejamos atrás las fiebres y los escalofríos, pero el resto de síntomas se acrecentaron, haciendo un calvario actos tan simples como abrir una puerta, subir unas escaleras, estar de pie o sentados sin sentir mareos y / o debilidad , si a esto se le agrega que el prurito o picor era mayor y de que los pies se edematizaron de una forma alarmante, hasta hacer imposible usar zapatos, exceptuando, unos viejos y destartalados ( anchos y cómodos ).El dolor en todas y cada una de las articulaciones de ambas manos, incluyendo todas las de los diez dedos de ambas manos, aparecieron y aun a la fecha se mantienen creando un dolor persistente, cruel, que se incrementa por las noches y sobre todo al amanecer, pero que persiste todo el día, junto a esto, ambas manos parecen manoplas por la hinchazón que presentan y que aun persiste, meses después de su comienzo.
