Apendicitis Aguda
Masculino 25 años edad con dolores epigástricos con migración posterior a fosa iliaca derecha de ocho horas de evolución. El examen físico muestra signo de rebote positivo ( ++). El examen sonografico de la zona con transductor linear de 10,0 MHz muestra Apéndice con paredes engrosadas, no se deforman con la presión, el Doppler Color muestra aumento local del flujo vascular. El diámetro AP del Apéndice es de 12,38 mm ( normal hasta 6.0 mm). Se aprecia liquido libre peri-Apendicular. El Elastograma muestra grado 3 del score de Ueno con área central de azul intenso ( casi negro) , esta se extiende por fuera de los limites del área apendicular y se rodea de zonas de colores verdes y rojas compatibles con el proceso inflamatorio del tejido blando que rodea el apéndice.Se concluye con el diagnostico de Apendicitis Aguda y se remite al departamento de Cirugía.
Acute Appendicitis
Male 25 years old with epigastric pain with migrating posterior to the right iliac fossa of eight hours of evolution. Physical examination shows a positive rebound sign (++). The sonographic examination of the area with a 10.0 MHz linear transducer shows an appendix with thickened walls, not deformed by pressure, Color Doppler shows a local increase of vascular flow. The AP diameter of the Appendix is 12.38 mm (normal to 6.0 mm). Peri-appendicular free liquid is seen. The Elastogram shows grade 3 of the Ueno score with a central area of intense blue (almost black), which extends outside the limits of the appendicular area and is surrounded by areas of green and red colors compatible with the inflammatory process of soft tissue surrounds the appendix. It concludes with the diagnosis of Acute Appendicitis and is referred to as the Department of Surgery.
