Absceso Suelo de Boca
Paciente masculino de 59 años de edad con una larga historia que se remonta a 14 años atrás durante los cuales, de manera intermitente, se le produce una tumefacción por debajo del angulo sub-mentoniano acompañado de dolor ,fiebres y escalofríos. Los tratamientos antibióticos y los analgésicos-anti-inflamatorios producen remisión de los síntomas pero estos vuelven a aparecen un tiempo después en la misma forma y con igual intensidad.La exploración sonografica muestra imagen an-ecogena, de paredes engrosadas e irregulares, mostrando en su interior flujo de sedimentos finos sugestivos de contenido purulento. La lesión se acompaña de amplia área de edema subcutáneo. El área mide aprox 3,5 X 2,1 X 1,0 cm con volumen aprox de 4,2 ml. Se concluye con el diagnostico de Absceso Sub-Mentoniano.
