Tenosinovitis Peroneo Largo
Paciente masculino de 38 años de edad , sin traumas previos conocidos, desde hace unos 45 días presenta tumefacción no dolorosa por debajo del maléolo externo del tobillo izquierdo. La tumefacción aumenta de tamaño con el ejercicio y disminuye, sin desaparecer, con el reposo. Al examen sonográfico se aprecia área fusiforme hipoecogenica , de paredes regulares y con refuerzo ecogenico posterior, mide aprox 2,7 X 1,6 X 0,6 cm. Se diagnostica como tendosinovitis del peroneo largo.
Male patient, 38 years of age, with no known previous traumas, for about 45 days has painless swelling below the lateral malleolus of the left ankle. The swelling increases in size and decreases with exercise, without disappearing, with rest. At sonographic examination fusiform hypoechoic area is seen, regular wall and echogenic posterior reinforcement measures approx 2.7 x 1.6 x 0.6 cm. Diagnosed as tenosynovitis of the peroneus longus.
