Tendinitis Crónica Tendón Aquiles
Paciente masculino de 87 años de edad que desde el 2007 viene sufriendo de lesión crónica, ulcerada, en la región del Tendón de Aquiles derecho. Comenzó con herida superficial en zona plantar anterior del pie derecho, la herida se ulceró y se llenó de gusanos. Fue operado y por la infección perdió el 4to dedo del pie pero la herida sigue abierta, sin cicatrizar en el área del tendón de Aquiles. La sonografia del área muestra edema superficial en toda la región y presencia de infiltrado de contenido liquido entre las fibrillas del Tendón de Aquiles en su tercio inferior. La superficie osea del Calcaneo luce normal. Se diagnostica como Tendinitis Crónica del Tendón de Aquiles.

It started with a plantar superficial wound above the right foot, the wound festered and was filled with worms. He underwent surgery and missed the 4th infection toe but the wound is still open, unhealed in the Achilles tendon area. The sonogram shows edema surface area throughout the region and the presence of infiltrated liquid content between Achilles Tendon fibrils in the lower third. The surface of the calcaneus bone looks normal. Diagnosed as chronic tendinitis of the Achilles tendon.
