Hidrocele Bilateral & Hidatide Morgagni
Paciente masculino 77 años de edad padeciendo desde hace bastante tiempo de agrandamiento de bolsas escrotales, con sensación de pesadez y grado leve de dolor en la zona. Al examen eco-sonografico de bolsas escrotales con transductor lineal de 7,5 MHz se aprecia la presencia de liquido con abundantes grumos finos en suspensión y refuerzo ecogenico posterior en ambas bolsas escrotales. En bolsa derecha se obtiene un volumen de aprox: 14,2 ml y en la izquierda de 59,1 ml. El tamaño de ambos testículos esta dentro de los parámetros habituales con una ligera diferencia a favor del testículo derecho. En este testículo se aprecia pedículo que se proyecta hacia el espacio ocupado por el hidrocele, se trata de Hidátide de Morgagni, resto embrionario, hallazgo poco frecuente que se presenta como apéndice que protuye desde el testículo o desde el epididimo y suele acompañarse de hidrocele, es mas frecuente su hallazgo en edades entre los 7-12 años y eventualmente puede torsionarse , creando un cuadro de dolor agudo que puede confundirse con la torsión del testículo y puede, eventualmente, obligar a opción quirúrgica para solucionar el problema.
