Hematoma del Cuadriceps
Paciente masculino de 56 años de edad, deportista de toda la vida, al bajar unas escaleras, hace una mala pisada, a consecuencia de ello presenta dolor en cara anterior del cuadriceps derecho, tercio inferior. Al tacto, se aprecia aumento de la temperatura en la zona y área de tumefacción. El accidente sucedió hace 2 meses pero el paciente ha seguido con sus actividades deportivas.
El examen sonografico con transductor linear muestra área an-ecogena, de limites irregulares, con focos ecogenos en su interior y pobre refuerzo posterior, el área mide aprox 5,2 X 2,8 X 1,8 cm. Se concluye con el diagnostico de Hematoma en zona posterior al cuadriceps derecho.
