Masa Pelvica
Femenina 22 años edad, menarquia a los 13 años, primera relacion sexual a los 17 años, dos parejas sexuales, gestación 0, partos 0. El examen ginecologico demostró masa pelvica de origen a determinar. No hay historia relevante pues la paciente dice tener menstruaciones regulares, duración 5 dias, sin sangrados o dolores de importancia. En el examen sonografico transvaginal se aprecia gran masa solida, de limites mas o menos regulares, con presencia de algunos focos internos de calcificaciones y un ligero aumento del flujo vascular en su porción mas superficial, la masa mide aprox: 7,32 X 6,14 cm. El útero , sin signos de embarazo, muestra marcada latero-desviación izquierda ,por la presencia de la masa, mide aprox: 6,31 X 3,22 X 3,35 cm o sea, es de menor tamaño que la masa.Se identifican, con aspecto normal, ambos ovarios.Se concluye con el diagnostico de mioma uterino. Como la ginecóloga, presente durante el examen sonografico, muestra dudas del diagnostico, se le sugiere realizar los análisis de los marcadores tumorales y una Tomografía Axial Computarizada ( TAC).
Pelvic Mass
Female 22 years old, menarche at 13 years of age, first sexual relationship at 17 years of age, two sexual partners, gestation 0, births 0. The gynecological examination showed a pelvic mass of origin to be determined. There is no relevant history because the patient says to have regular menses, lasting 5 days, without bleeding or significant pain. The transvaginal sonographic examination shows a large solid mass, of more or less regular limits, with the presence of some internal calcification foci and a slight increase in vascular flow in its most superficial portion, the mass measures approx: 7.32 X 6,14 cm. The uterus, without signs of pregnancy, shows marked lateral-deviation left, by the presence of the mass, measures approx: 6.31 X 3.22 X 3.35 cm that is, is smaller than the mass. They are identified, with normal appearance, both ovaries. It concludes with the diagnosis of uterine myoma. As the gynecologist, present during the sonographic examination shows doubts about the diagnosis, it is suggested to perform the analysis of the tumor markers and a Computed Tomography (CT).
