Perforación Uterina

Paciente  femenina de 44 años de edad que recién fue intervenida hace tres días para una implantación de producto ya que nunca ha estado embarazada. El procedimiento se realizó en Estados Unidos e inmediatamente comenzó a tener fiebres altas ( hasta 40° c con escalofríos), se le instauró tratamiento con antibióticos y analgésicos y fue enviada a casa. Tuvo que ser ingresada ya que el cuadro persistía con fuertes dolores abdominales sobre todo en hipogastrio y ambas fosas iliacas. El examen sonografico pelvico, vía transvaginal, mostró un útero con discontinuidad de su pared posterior, a nivel del cuerpo uterino, en contacto con este hallazgo se visualiza colección an-ecogena, liquida, con abundantes grumos finos en suspensión ( colección hematica ) de paredes engrosadas e irregulares. Adicionalmente se aprecia pequeño nódulo miomatoso. Se concluye con el diagnostico de perforación uterina con colección hematica pelvica y mioma uterino intramural.
