Calculo Conducto Stenon
Femenina 39 años edad con historia de 1 semana de dolores intensos en área pre e infra-auricular izquierda, el área se muestra con marcado aumento de volumen con palpación de consistencia pétrea, dolorosa. A nivel del tercio medio de la mejilla homolateral se palpa pequeña masa dura, muy dolorosa. El examen sonografico muestra glándula parotidas izquierda aumentada de tamaño ( mide aprox 4,89 X 3,44 X 2,07 cm ), sin apreciarse lesiones focales en su interior, se visualiza imagen de ganglio linfático en su interior, lo cual suele considerarse como un hallazgo normal. A nivel del tercio medio de la mejilla homolateral, se visualiza conducto de Stenon con dilatación proximal ( mide aprox: 4,4 mm ) por la presencia de imagen hiper-ecogenica, calcificada, con sombra posterior que se corresponde con calculo obstructivo de aprox: 3,7 mm en su eje mayor.La paciente ha estado en tratamiento con antibioticoterapia y anti-inflamatorios. Se concluye con el diagnostico Parotiditis por obstrucción calculosa del Conducto de Stenon

Stenson Conduit Stone
Female, 39 years of age, with a 1-week history of intense pain in the left anterior and infra-auricular area. The area shows a marked increase in volume with palpation of stony, painful consistency. At the level of the middle third of the homolateral cheek, a small hard mass is palpable, very painful. The sonographic examination shows an enlarged left parotid gland in size (it measures approximately 4.89 X 3.44 X 2.07 cm), with no focal lesions seen inside, a lymph node image is visualized inside, which is usually considered as a normal find At the level of the middle third of the ipsilateral cheek, Stenson's duct with proximal dilatation (measured approx: 4.4 mm) is visualized by the presence of the hyper-echogenic, calcified image, with a posterior shadow that corresponds to an obstructive stone of approx: 3.7 mm in its major axis. The patient has been in treatment with antibiotic therapy and anti-inflammatories. It concludes with the diagnosis of Parotiditis due to calcified obstruction of the Stenon Conduit
