Placenta Sobre Mioma Uterino
Femenina 30 años edad, Gesta 1 Parto 0 viene a revisión por embarazo de 28,1 semanas que cursa con dolores en región hipogastrica y en fosa iliaca derecha. El examen sonografico muestra embarazo con producto en posición podalica con parámetros de desarrollo compatibles con la edad gestacional. Llama la atención que la placenta , en localización posterior, se esta desarrollando justo encima de gran nodulo miomatoso de aprox : 8,20 X 5,80 cm. Este es el segundo caso que vemos en poco tiempo, el anterior se resolvió vía cesárea sin ningún incidente. Es bien sabido que en estos casos existe el peligro de hemorragia post-parto severa. Adicionalmente a esto se detecta otro nodulo miomatoso en cara anterior uterina que mide aprox: 5,88 X 4,62 cm. Claramente estas son las causas del dolor pelvico que declara la paciente y no representa una amenaza de parto prematuro como había sido catalogado hasta el momento previo a la sonografia.

It is striking that the placenta, in the posterior location, is developing just above the large myomatous nodule of approx: 8.20 X 5.80 cm. This is the second case we see in a short time, the previous one was resolved by cesarean section without any incident. It is well known that in these cases there is a danger of severe postpartum hemorrhage. In addition to this, another myomatous nodule is detected in the uterine anterior aspect measuring approx: 5.88 X 4.62 cm. Clearly, these are the causes of pelvic pain that the patient declares and does not represent a threat of premature delivery as it had been cataloged until the moment prior to sonography.
