Hidrocele Bilateral & Ascitis
Masculino 90 años de edad con antecedentes personales de cardiopatia que requirio la instalacion de 2 stents. Se le ingresa por presentar dificultad respiratoria, crecimiento del perimetro abdominal y de ambas bolsas escrotales, por este ultimo motivo se le requiere una sonografia escrotal. El examen sonografico muestra ambos testiculos de forma,tamaño , ecogenicidad y homogeneidad normales, lo mismo se aprecia en los referentes a ambos epididimos. La bolsa escrotal derecha muestra presencia de liquido claro con un volumen aprox: de 17,73 c.c.: La bolsa escrotal izquierda muestra presencia de liquido con grumos finos ,floculantes,de caracter hematico con volumen aprox: de 13,77 c.c..Se explora el canal inguinal izquierdo donde se visualizan signos sonograficos de abundante liquido ascitico con asas intestinales que ¨flotan¨en el.Se concluye con los diagnosticos de hidrocele bilateral y ascitis.
Bilateral Hydrocele & Ascites
A 90-year-old male with a personal history of heart disease required the installation of 2 stents. He was admitted for presenting difficulty breathing, growth of the abdominal perimeter, and both scrotal bags, for this last reason scrotal sonography is required. The sonographic examination shows both testicles of normal shape, size, echogenicity, and homogeneity, the same is appreciated in those referring to the epididymis. The right scrotal bag shows the presence of clear liquid with a volume of approx: 17.73 ccs The left scrotal bag shows the presence of fluid with fine, flocculating, hematic lumps with a volume of approx: 13.77 ccs left inguinal canal where sonographic signs of abundant ascites fluid are visualized with intestinal loops that "float" in it. It concludes with the diagnoses of bilateral hydrocele and ascites.
