Mostramos un ejemplo de Iatrogenia médica no intencional. Se trata de paciente femenina de 48 años de edad, con válvula Mitral protésica, que desarrolló embolia cerebral con hemiplejia izquierda por formación de trombos en el área de la válvula artificial , lo cual obligó a terapia intensiva de anticoagulantes, a consecuencia de ellos, la paciente me la remiten con tumefacción exquisitamente dolorosa a lo largo del musculo recto anterior izquierdo, desde hipocondrio izquierdo hasta Fosa Iliaca Izquierda, lugar este último donde se visualizaba la colección mixta más grande ( ver fotos )

We show an example of unintentional medical iatrogenesis. This is a 48-year-old female patient with a prosthetic mitral valve, who developed cerebral embolism with left hemiplegia due to thrombus formation in the area of the artificial valve, which required intensive anticoagulant therapy. The patient was referred to me with exquisitely painful swelling along with the left anterior rectus muscle, from the left hypochondrium to the Left Iliac Fossa, the latter place where the largest mixed collection was displayed (see photos)
