Quiste Residual u Ovario Residual

Femenina 38 años-Histerectomia & Ooforectomia hace 10 años G 3 P 3-Dispareunia. Quiste Ovario Derecho 5.2 X 4.7 X 4.2 cm-Ovario izquierdo 3.3 X 1.7 cm. La paciente cree que le extirparon un ovario ( oosforectomia ) , no recuerda cual.Como la sonografia muestra un quiste ovarico derecho , no tabicado y se visualiza imagen de aspecto similar a un ovario en lado izquierdo , se plantea la disyuntiva de decir (a) Es un quiste derecho residual , de los restos del ovario que fue extirpado o (b) tiene integro su ovario derecho y la imagen que vemos del lado izquierdo es lo que quedó de la ooforectomia. En cualquier caso el problema quistico persiste, aunque sus dimensiones permiten ser optimista y adoptar una postura conservadora, siguiendo desde luego, patrones de vigilancia adecuada
