Quistes Tiroides

Paciente femenina de 56 años de edad en revisión por presentar crisis de taquicardias repetitivas desde hace varios meses. El examen sonografico de Tiroides muestra lóbulo derecho con heterogeneidad focal a expensas de tres ( 3 ) imágenes quisticas, la mayor de ellas mide aprox 3,39 X 2,48 X 2,29 cm con volumen aprox de 10,16 ml. Otro quiste, poli-septado, mide aprox 1,32 X 1,71 X 1,42 cm con volumen aprox de 1,70 ml, un tercer quiste, de menor tamaño, también poli-septado, mide aprox 0,65 X 0,48 X 0.53 cm, volumen aprox de 0,09 ml. No se apreciaron lesiones de tipo solido. El eco-Doppler no mostró aumento del flujo vascular. El tamaño y volumen de ambos lóbulos tiroideos no se vieron significativamente afectados.

Thyroid Cysts

Female patient 56 years old at present review tachycardias repetitive crisis for several months. The sonographic examination shows the right lobe of thyroid with focal heterogeneity at the expense of three (3) cystic images, the largest of which measures approx 3.39 X 2.48 X 2.29 cm with 10.16 ml volume approx. Another cyst, poly-septate, measured approximately 1.32 X 1.71 X 1.42 cm with approximately 1.70 ml volume, a third cyst, smaller size, also poly-septate, measured about 0.65 X 0 , 48 X 0.53 cm, volume about 0.09 ml. No solid-type lesions were observed. The echo-Doppler showed no increased vascular flow. The size and volume of both lobes not significantly affected.
