Orquitis & Hidrocele
Paciente masculino, 36 años, soltero, sin hijos, con años de molestias dolorosas y tumefacción de testículo derecho, con eyaculacion dolorosa y en ocasiones con sangre ( hematospermia ). Se queja de dolor y sensibilidad en ambos testículos. Hace pocos días sufrió una herniorrafia inguinal derecha, tras la cual sus molestias testiculares aumentaron.
Al examen sonográfico testicular con transductor linear de 10 Mhz apreciamos testículo derecho aumentado de tamaño , mostrando aumento de su ecogenicidad de modo general sin apreciarse focos de lesiones especificas, sean estas quísticas o solidas. El testículo mide 3.9 X 3.6 cms en sus ejes mayores. Se aprecia igualmente hidrocele no tabicado con grumos finos sedimentarios, con unos 22.1 c.c. de volumen.
El testículo izquierdo luce sonograficamente normal, mide 3.0 X 2.1 en sus ejes mayores.
El cuadro es compatible con diagnostico de Orquitis e Hidrocele Derecho.
Male patient, 36 years old, single, childless, with years of discomfort and painful swelling of the right testicle, with painful ejaculation, and sometimes with blood (hematospermia). He complains of pain and tenderness in both testes. A few days ago he suffered a right inguinal hernia, after which increased testicular discomfort.
When testicular sonographic examination of 10 MHz linear transducers appreciate enlarged right testis, showing an increase in echogenicity in general showing no outbreaks of specific injuries, whether they are cystic or solid. The testis measured 3.9 X 3.6 cm in their long axes. A hydrocele is also seen with smooth not septate fine sediment, with a 22.1 cc volume.

The sonographic looks normal left testis, measuring 3.0 X 2.1 in their major axes.
The picture is compatible with a diagnosis of orchitis and right hydrocele.
