Tenosinovitis 1er Dedo Mano Izquierda

 Femenina 82 años de edad con antecedentes de infarto miocárdico y de cirugía en mano derecha por proceso similar al actual. Es remitida para estudio sonografico de lesion en el 1er dedo de la mano izquierda. El examen sonografico con transductor linear de 10 MHz muestra el tendón extensor de este dedo con ecoestructura conservada pero rodeado en una amplia extension de una acumulacion de liquido en su vaina sinovial. El Doppler color no muestra aumento significativo de flujo en la zona. Nos llama la atención la cantidad de liquido porque habitualmente vemos cantidades de mucho menor volumen..Concluimos con el diagnóstico de tenosinovitis severa del tendón extensor del 1er dedo de mano izquierda.

Tenosynovitis 1st Finger Left Hand

82-year-old female with a history of myocardial infarction and surgery on the right hand due to a process similar to the current one. She is referred for a sonographic study of the lesion on the 1st finger of the left hand. The sonographic examination with a 10 MHz linear transducer shows the extensor tendon of this finger with preserved echostructure but surrounded to a large extent by an accumulation of fluid in its synovial sheath. Color Doppler shows no significant increase in flow in the area. We are struck by the amount of fluid because we usually see much smaller amounts. We conclude with the diagnosis of severe tenosynovitis of the extensor tendon of the 1st finger of the left hand.
